WHEW!! MADE IT THRU ADVENT

The culture calls it Christmas season -- the church calls it Advent. Either way, it is over and I am back in the blogosphere.

The massive winter storm did not hit central Kentucky. We had minimal but beautiful ice on the trees. It was like Narnia outside.

Church was my family (extended on Trudi's side) and three other St. Pat's households. It was delightful. We sang accepella carols, read and preached the Word and celebrated Holy Communion. Lot's of good eats and fellowship afterwards. (We have a 45 minutes of hangout and eat time after every worship gathering. This is not an afterthought but a very intentional part of our worship gathering.)

Now we are two days into Christmas -- Merry Christmas by the way. Our tree will up until January 6 -- the feast of the Epiphany.

Feliz Navidad!!!
