Cold in Kentucky

It is turning cold in Kentucky. I am glad for it. Winters here are not deathly cold (like they were in Iowa). I am grateful for that. But I do like the air to be crispy and bit stingy to the touch. I am also fond of snow. A blanket of the white stuff always looks nice this time of year.

During the last seven years I have lived in Kentucky there has not been much snow. That is unfortunate. I am hopeful that this year will be a year of snow. We shall see, shan't we?
