Superbowl Thoughts - The Steelers and the Stones

Well -- I'm glad the Steelers won, but I think the Seahawks actually played a more solid and consistent game. But because of Pittsburgh's creativity and some intersting calls they came out on top. But hey -- that's football. I've been a Steeler fan since the days of Bradshaw, Swann, Harris and Blier.

I enjoyed the Stones. They played sloppily, but to quote the glimmer twins, "I know it's only rock-n-roll, but I like it, like it, yes I do." I loved Mick Jagger's quip before singing "Satisfaction", "Here's one we could have sung at Suiperbowl I." Ha!

Trudi and I saw the Stone's live in 1994. At one point we were 3 feet from Mick and Keith. Gotta admit -- I loved it.

Cheers.
