Today is my birthday - turned 39. Loooking at 40 next year - I am looking forward to it.

Good talk with an Anglican Mission colleague named Alan Hawkins. He pastors Church of the Good Shepherdin Davidson, NC (part of the Charlotte metro area). Just talked about ministry being about people, people, people. (Jesus invested in 12 and changed the world, even without Church growth principles!) Talked about a pastor as a shepherd - called to lay down one's life for the church. Good, old fashioned, Jesus type bible ministry principles - good for the soul!!
