PREDESTINATION

I am working through a book entitled Predestination. It is an old work by the Roman Catholic priest and scholar Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange (GL). GL is a Thomist (i.e., a follower of the teaching of St. Thomas Aquinas). His goal is to offer a Thomistic model of presdestination that embraces the clear teaching of scripture that God desires all to be saved and that it is possible for all to be saved while at the same time holding that predestination is true. Other models either deny human freedom or deny the doctrine of predestination.

Should be interesting. We shall see if he accomplishes his goal.
