VETERAN'S DAY

Today is Veteran's Day. It is celebrated on November 11 because that is the day the armistice was signed to end World War One or as the Brits call it -- the Great War.

Between Trudi and I, we have five vets in our family. I believe all vets are heroes. The sacrifice of serving one's country is nobel and herioc. The rest of us owe our freedom to vets. We must never forget that. Whether or not we agree with a particular war, the blame or support goes to our political leaders. The women and men who don uniforms are heroes no matter what and deserve our support and undying gratitude.
