AMiA Conference

I am at the Anglican Mission in America Conference in Jacksonville, FL. It is cloudy, rainy and cold.

Last night was the opening service of worship. There were 1600 people gathered together. In the room was a mix of laity, deacons, priests, bishops and archbishops.

During Holy Communion I was struck again with how the Eucharist is an unveiling of the Kingdom of God. After receiving communion, I stood at my seat and watched Archbishops humbly serve bread and wine to myriads of people. It was glorious.

More later...
