I should blog more. Funny how just having a blog induces guilt. Maybe I should just get rid of the blog and then I would get rid of the guilt!

I have a cold that has hit me like a ton of bricks or like a mack truck -- you choose your simile.

Dylan is on the Angels -- his little league baseball team. Could this be the year of pitching?

Rees is doing judo this spring -- moving toward a yellowbelt. A my boy of the rising sun!!

Ainsley is in the midst of potty training. 'Nuff said. I like having been otty trainied better than being potty trained.

Shelby can sit up. Hey that's nig stuff for a six month old!!

Trudi is busy at work but it looks like her planned job transition will happen fairly soon.

We will (hopefully) be selling our house this summer and moving to Lexington.

Has anyone read the Eugene Peterson interview in Christianity Today? I love it. Here is s juicy quote:

"In my writing, I hope to recover a sense of the reality of congregation—what it is. It's a gift of the Holy Spirit. Why are we always idealizing what the Holy Spirit doesn't idealize? There's no idealization of the church in the Bible—none. We've got two thousand years of history now. Why are we so dumb?"

That's really, really good!! I do that all the time -- idealize the church. A good set up for disillusionment and burnout. Ugh!!

Cheers!
